Hoppo places QR codes at high-traffic locations — metro entry/exit, mall foyers, hospital reception, business park gates. Scan, see cabs, book.
No GPS hunt to find your pickup point. The hotspot's location is hard-coded into the QR. We know exactly where you are. Cabs route accordingly.
Cinema-style choice in every cab.
Every Hoppo cab has three seat tiers — same as a cinema's premium / standard / economy rows. Each tier is priced for the comfort level. Pick the one that matches your mood and budget.
Front passenger seat. Full legroom, AC vents in your face, music control.
The default middle-row seats. Same as any premium ride-hail. Comfortable, fair.
Back row, middle seat. Less premium, fully air-conditioned, still safe and tracked.
A Hop-In rider will never be in a school cab.
Hoppo runs two physically separate fleets. School cabs carry children only — the Hop-In feature is removed from those drivers' tablets entirely. The driver can't toggle it on. The cab can't be repurposed.
Hop-In runs only on employee cabs and commuter routes during their natural non-school hours. Adults ride with adults. Children ride with verified school cab drivers. The two never overlap. This is in the architecture, not a policy that depends on trust.

Do I need to install an app?
Not for your first ride. Scan a hotspot QR and the Hop-In flow opens in your phone's browser. After your first ride, we'll suggest the app — but it's optional. The browser version has every feature.
What if no Hoppo cab is going my way?
The app will tell you immediately — "No cabs on this corridor right now, next likely cab in 18 minutes." You can choose to wait or use another service. We don't pretend to have a cab when we don't.
How is the fare calculated?
Per kilometer of YOUR segment, not the whole trip. Comfort tier is ₹14/km, Captain ₹16/km, Saver ₹11/km. No surge, no booking fee, no waiting charge. Toll added if applicable, transparently.
Can I book Hop-In in advance?
Yes — up to 4 hours ahead. You'll be matched to whichever Hoppo cab is going past your pickup at your time. You can also schedule recurring Hop-Ins (daily commute) at a 15% discount.
What if there's no Hoppo cab going where I'm going?
Hoppo prioritizes its subscriber routes first — that's the whole point of network density. If your destination doesn't intersect a subscriber route, you'll see fewer options. Hop-In coverage expands as more parents and companies subscribe.
